Na serra gaúcha tem muita hortênsia no verão. Em nova petrópolis parece que tudo começa. Há como se fosse um portão. Logo depois de passar pela graciosa rua principal, de enfeites e flores, na estradinha para gramado surge um novo caminho, o das hortênsias. E que tal passarmos por ele de charrete, um veículo pequeno, com duas rodas, para duas ou três pessoas, puxado por um cavalo? Além de nós dois, ainda cabe mais um. Alguém se habilita? Ali na altura do vinhedo, na passagem de chão, um pouco abaixo da fiação, estão algumas hortênsias, além do alazão.
De charrete dá pra aproveitar melhor o caminho. Ver as flores, o vinhedo, cumprimentar as pessoas, dar bom dia.
O caminho prosseguia entre as hortênsias. Imensas, a cor azul predominava, ao passar o automóvel se apequenava. O ônibus parecia que abaixava. Elas formam um paredão! E florido! Mais alto do que um caminhão. E colorido!
Veio a bicicleta. O ciclista trazia boa notícia. Era época da colheita da uva. Ali ao lado havia bela produção, disponível para degustação.
Se havia uva na parreira? Sim! E de várias cores! É farta a videira. A vindima vai até fevereiro. Ainda é janeiro.
Ao lado de gramado está canela. Que tal uma polenta na cantina 28? Boa viagem!
